Our history

Our roots are well established in the NHS


Prior to 2006 The Supplies Team was a department within Portsmouth Hospitals providing a service to all PHT Departments as well as various local Primary Care Trusts. In 2006 we were awarded the contract to provide a service to the Isle of Wight Hospital Trust and rebranded our offering to become Solent Supplies Team which reflected our customer base around the Solent. Following continual growth of service to include clients based in London and along the South Coast, we rebranded our service to become, in 2013, NHS South of England Procurement Services. This allowed us to better reflect our broad client base and make ready for the future environment. We have continued to develop into a flexible and robust procurement service that provides all aspects of Procurement and more recently, commercial activities traditionally outside of Procurement.
